Setting up a Thank you message

After submitting a lead, you usually want to present a thank you message to your user.

Another method is to redirect your user to an external link containing your thank you page or you can use both methods by presenting a messages for a few seconds and then redirect the user to an external page.

To configure the thank you message or link, follow these steps:

Required:

  1. Click on “Forms” at the side bar
  2. Click on the “Settings” button of the form you want to adjust
  3. Click on the “Thank You” tab
  4. Under “After Success Message” edit the thank you message

Optionally, if you want the form to be closed after lead submission, then:

  1. Check the “Close Form After Success” checkbox
  2. Edit the number of seconds under the “After Success Close Delay” field

Optionally, if you want to redirect the user, then:

  1. Check the “Redirect After Success” checkbox
  2. Enter a URL in the “After Success Redirect URL” field
  3. Edit the number of seconds under the “After Success Redirect Delay” field

Note – If you need to report a conversion, you can capture the “jetform_submit_success” event that is provided after every lead submission.
